Dr. Ernst will be visiting Peru from 13 – 19 November. The main reasons for the visit are to attend, and present a talk at, the Avocado symposium in Lima as well as to visit some farmers regarding Maluma. He will be hosted and accompanied by Dr. Odilo Duarte.
His schedule at the moment is :
Sunday 13th – Leave from Lima for Trujillo.
Monday 14th – Visit Trujillo, then to Daniel Bustamante further north, and then go to Piura.
Tuesday 15th – Visit 2 farms in Piura, return to Lima.
Wednesday 16th – Symposium in Lima (Dr. Duarte and Dr. Ernst will present). Dr. Ernst will also specifically report back about the very successful marketing of Maluma in the European market.
Thursday 17th – Symposium.
Friday 18th – Visit Maluma planting at Estuardo Masias’ place, stay in Paracas.
Saturday 19th – Visit in Chincha in the morning, return to Lima for lunch.
