Our first trees have been planted in a “first of its kind” orchard in Tzaneen, South Africa. An orchard of Maluma on 3 clonal rootstocks: Duke7, Dusa, and Bounty. The orchard is planted on a 2,5m x 2,5m spacing providing for a whopping 1600 trees per hectare!!! Whatch this space for updates on its progress!

These Maluma Fruit were sent to Novasun, a supplier of ripe & ready avocados to Woolworths in South Africa. The photos were taken as part of their quality control procedures and were passed on to us. We are very happy with the fruit and it confirms that Maluma is well-suited for ripe & ready programs.
