On Thursday 3 March 2011 SAAGA and Allesbeste cooperatively held a meeting with Farmers, exporters and nurserymen to discuss issues about Maluma as well as the way forward.
The main topics were as follows:
- A comprehensive background on Maluma (Andrè Ernst)
- Protocols for handling Maluma to ensure quality (Zander Ernst)
- Maluma research: the way forward (Frans Kruger)
During the meeting it was suggested that a Maluma Growers Forum (MKF) was established that will meet annually. MKF meetings will be held annually with the SAAGA research symposium and everyone is welcome to join in. If you are interested please leave your details and we’ll keep you posted.
